You start with nothing but your hands, a meadow and a long road of daylight ahead. Cut timber, break stone and gather fibre. Light a campfire. Raise four walls, then a tiled roof, then a whole village with your friends. When the storm rolls in and night falls, there will be a lamp lit by your door.

Over 500 building pieces: stone foundations, timber-framed walls, shutters, stairs, chimneys, whole tiled roofs, castle walls and docks. Snap them together however you like, and build a Workbench to unlock the advanced kit.

A world grown from a seed

Every world is generated fresh: sea and rivers, meadows and forests, dry scrub, rocky highlands and snow-capped ranges with lakes hidden among them. Swim the rivers, follow the wildlife and pin what you find on the map.

Delve

Ruins with something underneath

Old keeps crumble beside the mountain lakes, and below them lie furnished dungeons and the monsters that guard them. Bring a torch, a sword and a healing potion, and come back with loot worth hauling home.

Survive

Weather that means it

A full day and night under a real sky, with rain, storms and nights dark enough that a torch matters. Keep yourself fed with berries, mushrooms and jam cooked at the fire, and work your way up from stone tools to bronze and steel.
